The wool performances take their title and Stay, Tied, Bound from the Simone De Beauvoir quote.

The performances took place between 2013-2017 in the bucolic bliss of English countryside, the desert of Joshua Tree, and a river in Switzerland.

While the wool in it’s simplest form represents family ties it also alludes to, and raises questions of, femininity, craft, heritage, marital bonds, ownership, yearning, and ultimately, love.
